PRONOVIAS is a family firm that began life in ‘El Suizo’, a prestigious Barcelona store founded by Alberto Palatchi Bienveniste in 1922 that specialized in lace, embroidery and high-quality silk fabrics.What started as a family business would later grow to become Pronovias. In 2017 the BC Partners investment group bought the company that until then had a more familiar approach, to start its expansion and growth plan. In 2018 Nicole Fashion Group becomes part of the Pronovias Group and in 2019 Ladybird joined the team. The expansion process is supported by the creation of subsidiaries in New York, Italy and Shanghai. In 2021, Pronovias Group signed an exclusive ten-year licensing agreement with the renowned fashion designer Vera Wang.
