It’s a tie between reading our vows to each other and the father-daughter dance. Our vows were priceless and we both did what we do best – laugh. We made sure that everything on our wedding day depicted us together. All decisions were agreed upon together. So the only thing of surprise for us would be our vows. My husband came prepared with the most beautiful and hilarious vows I have ever heard. He rehearsed every line and exaggerated sigh; there wasn’t a dry eye for the rest of the ceremony. The father-daughter dance was memorable because my dad has never danced in all 62 years of his life. He has held that record proudly so when he dared to stand in front of all our guests and bop around with me to Steve Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely, I don’t think there are words to describe the amount of fun we had for those short minutes. A memory I’ll keep so close to my heart.
