Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Alon Livne always knew he wanted to become a Fashion Designer. At the age of 11 he already crafted his own illustrated children’s book, and by the time he was 13 he was already cutting up and sewing clothing from his mother’s and grandmother’s old tablecloths.
Livné studied art and sculpting throughout his youth and went on to the world-renowned “Shenkar College of Art and Design” to study Fashion Design at the tender age of 17, having already mastered the art of sewing and patternmaking. Taking inspiration from nature and art, his wedding dresses designs convey a modern, futuristic look with touches of classic and gothic aesthetics. His wedding dresses are distinguished by their dramatic sculptural shapes, which give the human body innovative new proportions and angles and mix modern technologies such as laser-cutting and 3D printed leather patterns with uniquely contrasting fabrics alongside classic couture sewing techniques.
