Carrie Hung is the managing member and owner of Wedding Atelier, the latest wedding-related business venture for a member of the Hung family. Carrie’s parents owned a one-stop Wedding Center in Chinatown for absolutely everything the bride, groom, and their families need to host a Chinese wedding celebration.
Carrie decided to take the family business to the next level after working at various companies for business consulting, there came Wedding Atelier. The philosophy at Wedding Atelier is to treat every bride as a unique individual, a woman with her discerned taste and sophistication and that Wedding Atelier’s job is to help match those special characteristics of the bride to a beautifully crafted gown that will display all of her uniqueness on her Wedding Day.
Carrie also acts as the buyer for the Company. She hand-selects couture wedding dresses from top designers from around the world every season to bring to the brides the latest bridal fashion and trends. In the future, Carrie envisions meeting all of the bride’s and wedding party’s fashion needs surrounding the big day.
In addition to owning and operating Wedding Atelier, Carrie also actively involves in the Business Development of an independent, nonprofit Chinese-language site television broadcaster, as well as a promoter and marketer for the authentic Chinese performing arts.
Before establishing Wedding Atelier, Carrie was a consultant for Accenture and graduated from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Like her clients, Carrie is herself a young professional. Since she shares her clients’ perspective, she has a keen sense of their needs, which informs and enhances Wedding Atelier’s selection and service.
