What was the most memorable part of your special day?
Our wedding ceremony was so thoughtful. All of the music and our priest from my hometown church made for special touches throughout our wedding mass. Leaving the church, walking down the aisle hand in hand with my husband was the best feeling, specially after having to postpone our wedding date from July 2020 to July of 2021. We were so excited to finally be able to officially call each other husband and wife. Our first dance to “You Are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne was so much fun. We had practiced together at home a few weeks leading up to the wedding. Dancing together and belting out the lyrics are moments I will never forget. At midnight of our wedding, it turned to the 4th of July. My husband is from Syracuse, New York and loves the famous, “Hofman Hotdogs”. When the clock stroke midnight, the entire waitstaff at Belle Mer came onto the dance floor with red white and blue plates and trays filled with “Hofman Hotdogs”. It was really hard to keep this a secret but it was so worth it. His face when he saw the hot-dogs was priceless and he was so excited! It was so fun planning this surprise for him and all our guests really enjoyed a late night hot dog and fries too! What says fourth of July more than a hot dog!?
