How did you meet and/or what is your wedding day story?
Although Sofia and Chris live in NYC, the couple decided to get married in Miami, FL where Sofia grew up. She was raised by a Brazilian mom and a Venezuelan dad. Similarly, Chris’ mom is from Ecuador. Miami was the perfect spot for all of their family and friends to get together to celebrate their special day and they were able to add plenty of Latin flair along the way including a band that played plenty of samba, bachata and reggaeton, a traditional dessert table and even a Brazilian samba school with dancers straight out of the iconic Carnaval.
What was the most memorable part of your special day?
Everything. It’s so hard to pick but here are a few:
1. Getting ready with lifelong friends in my childhood home – Sofia
2. Seeing Sofia for the first time as she walked down the aisle with her parents – Chris
3. Seeing our guests’ breathtaking reaction as they walked into the most beautiful venue, designed by our incredible team who perfectly captured our vision – Couple
